A "Hammer" tough afternoon in hammer .. / A "Hammer" hard Afternoon in Hammer

Yesterday afternoon she met with the patchwork group of Hammer, a Kiel district, the heart pillow sewing in a room of St. Gabriel's Church and Nora and I were invited. First, our eyes fell on a wall hanging crafted by the group that we had to admire first:

A great collaborative effort, which was written as of the 92-year-old mother of a worker inside the patch embroidered!
But then it was time for work: two participants had brought their sewing machines, patchwork Erin Marlis already cut a lot of heart pillows and parts is already sewn. Was able to spread a lot of work: sew pillow, flip pads, pillows filled with stuffing, sew up the last hole ...

There were all busy! Next came the exchange of news is also not too short ....
looked in between the pure spirit of Martin Kieler Nachrichten, to make a report on this meeting, we'll see when we find ourselves in the newspaper!
And after about 4 hours, then all sewn pillows, the stuffing is used up and the result of this action could be seen:

from the empty Stuffing envelopes the cushion we have sewn the same bags in which many heart pillow, more precisely, there were 120 pieces could be transported!
Nora and I can only again a big thank you to all volunteers and donors of materials to the hard-working seamstresses Gila, Marlene, Irmgard and Inga, say to Marlis, Gerlinde, Christel, and Birgit Yrsa
And I ask for the Donations of cloth which were again the process of the subjects had marked children and I was allowed to take as a donation for the action Frühchenquilts , Thank you also for the sister of Inga!

And so did all your strength, was provided with a top tasty soup for the physical well!

It was a beautiful, busy and enjoyed many beautiful heart pillow afternoon!

Yesterday afternoon the group met to hammer patchwork heart-sew pillows and Nora and I were invited to join them. When we entered the room belonging to the church of Hammer (a district of Kiel) we looked at a big wall-hanging Which We admired so much!! The text for example was stitched by the 92 year old mother of one of the Patch Work!
But then work on what the plan: two members brought their sewing-machines with them  to this meeting, others had cut out plenty of heart-pillows and some were sewn already! So our work started: some sewed the pillows, some turned right side out, some were filling them, some closed the last opening....
By the time a reporter from the Kieler Nachrichten dropped in to make a little report about our meeting.
After 4 hours or so... all pillows were sewn, the wadding was used up and the result of this action could show up: 120 new heart-pillows!!
Nora and I once again say a big"thank you" to all sewers and donators of fabrics!
And I got a donation of more children like fabrics for the Frühchenquilts-action  !

When Is Huntik Season 2 In The Uk

The Tree

Australia, France, Germany, Italy, 2010 (The Tree) Director: Julie Bertucelli coincide with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Morgana Davies, Marton Csokas, Christian Byers, Tom Russell 100 min AM from 6 to

20. Anniversary of Serge Gainsbourg comes this wonderful film with his now very mature daughter Charlotte in the German cinemas. How to get the father to be worthy, shows the singer and actress in a clever way one of the many facets of their skill. Charlotte Gainsbourg that parallel to the "Antichrist" back to the petting with a tree looks like it be a coincidence. With many vivid presentation nuances between gloomy horror ("Antichrist") and light nature-mysticism in "The Tree" Gainsbourg is another reason to go to the movies. Julie Bertucellis second feature film (after "Since Otar is gone", 2003) even better.

A nice father, a happy daughter go through vast Australian landscape home. As it overtakes a heart attack, the driverless pickup rolls the last Meter comes from and against a huge tree in front of the house of the family. Peter O'Neil can not only daughter Simone (Morgana Davies) returns, but also three other children and his wife. Dawn O'Neil (Charlotte Gainsbourg ) stretched down the grief, they remain motionless for days in the marital bedroom. Simone finds her pain-site under construction, noting along the way but seriously, father would speak through the building to her. Dawn may forbids us to the nonsense, but when the daughter brought only with outside help from monster made of branches and roots are down, the young widow, the poor vegetable comes closer. And feel something. The tree is increasingly in the sequence in one room, clogging the water pipes. A crisp plumber named George (Marton Csokas) fixes the problem and offers Dawn a post and the seat at his side. Then a huge road crashes into her bedroom, the living world makes itself with frogs in the toilet and bats noticeable in the kitchen.

A tale of parting and grief, in the distance of less than beguiling blue sky and wide across the mystique of Peter Weir's hinted at "Picnic at Hanging Rock". In "The Tree" surrounded by music. Julie Bertucelli succeeds mainly through the safe play by Charlotte Gainsbourg, the highly unusual story - based on the novel "Our Father, Who Art in the Trees" by Australian author Judy Pascoe - credible and just not "crazy" to present. After a violent storm voices remains a special mood, are intimately connected in human and nature.
